Maaike Clothing
We have worked with Harriet now on four of our Look Books, campaigns and countless additional promotional shoots. Harriet has gone from strength to strength since we started working with her and we are always blown away by the work she produces. Harriet works tirelessly (and normally on a very tight deadline!) to get the perfect picture. She has an amazing understanding of what we want as a client and always strives to capture that.

ELLEfit
I called upon Harriet’s services after starting up my own Personal Training business, ELLEfit. I needed a logo and a website and although had a vision, I was after someone who I could put my trust in and know they would conceptualise my brand successfully. Harriet nailed it and I love what she has done for me. She takes the reigns in a way you feel comfortable letting her do her thing, and you know she will deliver. As well as having a gorgeous energy about her, she pushes you to get shit done. Who doesn’t love that?

Nikon D-Photo Amateur Monochrome Photographer of the Year 2013: Harriet McDonald
Shaken, Not Stirred
Judges' Comments:
Andrew Hales: Love this. Love the contact with the subject, love the framing with Bond in the background, love the placement of the guitar, lots of cool stuff happening.
Lynn Clayton: The shallow depth of field added power to this girl’s dramatic eye, sandwiched between her softer focused guitar and a softer ’Bond’ poster boy behind her. A very powerful and evocative image.
Jeremy Andrews: Well constructed and with contrast in more than just the photographic sense, Harriet’s entry was a standout amongst the monochrome entries.

We can't say enough about how happy we are to have had Harriet, of Paper Moon Photography, as our wedding photographer. She is such a lovely person to deal with, she really listened to what we wanted and so from the first time we talked with her we felt confident she was the right choice for us.
In the lead up to the wedding she was generous with her time and very organised. She was also enthusiastic about our ideas and offered her own great suggestions when we needed inspiration.
The photos Harriet took were beyond our expectations - all the little details and crucial moments were beautifully captured. But also the photos tell a story of how amazing the whole day was for us and our guests - looking at them brings back so many memories of little things that were said or done, that otherwise we might forget with time.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Harriet to anyone, and we will treasure our wedding photos and the lovely memories they bring back, forever.
